Secret Spot

We just got back from Sequoia. Thanks to Mike, Autumn and Zoe for being such good company. Check the photos. We hiked to a spot so epic, id rather not mention its name. Probably one of the most beautiful and secluded spots I've ever been.

This weekend C. And I ended up at Masons art show in Carlsbad. After the show we camped at the beach and had a fire. Pretty nice little Saturday. Click below for photos from the show of art. Clocky Knows. Respect.

I recently became aware of documentary Photographer Carolyn Drake.
A friend emailed me her web site which sucked me in for the better part of an hour. Thanks Todd!

The Edge

THE 9000

A couple of weekends ago, some friends of mine from work and I headed into the San Gorgornio wilderness for a couple of days of solitude. We ended up getting caught in an unexpected snow storm. It made for some pretty good team building. Check out photos here.

CM bloged a more detailed write up of the trip. Find that here.

This trip reminded me of one of my favorite movies of all time. Definitely check out The Edge if you have a chance. It is based on a brilliant David Mamet screenplay.
